چکیده

Abstract P-Minder is a lightweight sidewalk segmentation and obstacle detection-based approach designed for phubbers’ safety, which can help phubbers to avoid obstacles other dangers during phubbing walking. But two issues have been found in previous experiments: undifferentiated scores the recognition results costs high resource occupation background operation. Therefore, this paper proposes sector correlation model classify an accurate judgment. Then, new application architecture design walking detection decrease occupation. Besides, datasets are expanded, models retrained adapt improved architecture. In same datasets, achieves 1.7 percentage point accuracy improvement experiment. The experimental result proves that reach 81.2% mean intersection over union. method finally 75.52% experiment with low computing resources cost.

SANA: Safety-Aware Navigation Application for Pedestrian Protection in Vehicular Networks

This paper proposes a Safety-Aware Navigation Application (SANA) for pedestrian protection in vehicular networks. Because the distracted walking by the smartphone usage in a street or crossroad usually causes road accidents and casualties, it is necessary to design an energyefficient safety service for a smartphone to warn a pedestrian of possible danger. SANA provides smartphone users with suc...
